Corporate Tax Specialist – Singapore (up to $6000, overseas assignment)

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Specialist to join our finance team in Singapore. The role involves managing tax audits, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and supporting overseas assignments when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with external tax consultants, advisors, and regulatory authorities to manage local tax audits, investigations, and disputes.
• Coordinate with overseas finance teams to prepare and submit supporting documentation, tax responses, and compliance requirements promptly.
• Monitor the progress of tax audits and assessments, ensuring efficient resolution in line with local regulations.
• Collaborate with external tax experts to deliver tax training and knowledge‑sharing sessions for regional finance teams.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of regular tax review processes to ensure compliance with local tax laws.
• Review tax filings and declarations prepared by local finance teams for accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Identify potential tax risks and recommend practical solutions to strengthen tax controls.
• Stay updated on tax regulation changes and assess their impact on business operations across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of corporate tax experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Willingness to undertake occasional overseas assignments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
