Demand Planner – Medical Devices

About the role

We are seeking a Demand Planner to join a global healthcare organisation that delivers life‑saving medical devices. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and support supply chain decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market intelligence and business insights.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to optimise stock while reducing excess.
• Support S&OP processes and participate in planning discussions with key stakeholders.
• Analyse demand trends, forecast variances and operational performance to drive continuous improvement.
• Work with regional and global supply teams to manage product availability and mitigate supply risks.
• Prepare planning reports, dashboards and recommendations for data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management or related supply‑chain functions.
• Experience in a multinational, preferably regulated, industry such as healthcare or medical devices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and planning tools.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Data analysis capabilities.
