Director of Executive Compensation & Benefits

About the role

The Director of Executive Compensation & Benefits will lead the design, implementation and governance of executive pay and benefit programs. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures the organization remains competitive, compliant and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor market, industry and statutory trends in executive compensation and provide benchmarking insights.
• Prepare and present executive compensation analyses and recommendations to shareholders.
• Draft individual executive offers, employment packages and advise on best‑practice compensation structures.
• Collaborate with the Global HR team to adjust base and variable pay programs to drive performance and retention.
• Oversee global mobility processes for senior executives.
• Lead a small team managing executive payroll, mobility and related compliance activities.
• Review and audit all compensation and benefits information requiring shareholder approval.
• Contribute to strategic HR and business projects across the organization.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in an APAC context.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven ability to interact with C‑level executives and translate complex data into clear presentations.
• Deep knowledge of executive compensation practices, legal and tax regulations, and governance requirements.
• Experience designing and rolling out large‑scale compensation programs.
• Strong project‑management, analytical, organizational and presentation skills.
