Director of Field Marketing – Asia Pacific & Middle East

About the role

The Director of Field Marketing will lead Shield AI’s largest regional field‑marketing organization, covering the Middle East, India and the Asia‑Pacific. Based in Singapore and reporting to the VP of Global Field Marketing Units, the role shapes strategy, builds teams and delivers programs that drive pipeline and support capture efforts in complex defence and aerospace markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a unified regional field‑marketing strategy aligned with global go‑to‑market priorities.
• Build and scale a high‑performing regional team, defining structure, processes and operating rhythms across multiple countries.
• Design and run account‑based marketing programs for priority government, military and aerospace accounts, including executive briefings, events and targeted campaigns.
• Partner with Sales, Business Development, Capture and Product Marketing to translate business priorities into high‑impact field‑marketing initiatives that generate pipeline and accelerate opportunities.
• Own the strategy and execution of major aerospace and defence events in the region, focusing on strategic account engagement and opportunity acceleration.
• Establish KPIs that reflect defence sales realities such as strategic account penetration, stakeholder engagement depth and pipeline contribution.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in field marketing, demand generation or integrated marketing leadership.
• Proven track record marketing into international government, military, aerospace or defence environments.
• Deep knowledge of defence and aerospace ecosystems across the Middle East and/or Asia‑Pacific, including procurement processes and key stakeholder groups.
• Experience building and executing account‑based marketing strategies within complex, multi‑stakeholder organisations.
• Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior military, government and industry leaders.
• Willingness to travel internationally 25‑50% of the time.
