Director of Marketing Communications

About the role

The Director of Marketing Communications leads all communication activities for Moxy Singapore Clarke Quay, with a strong focus on public relations and brand image. This senior role is responsible for shaping the hotel's reputation and driving revenue through strategic communication initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual communications plan aligned with the hotel's marketing strategy, including budgets and performance tracking.
• Prepare and present monthly sales & marketing communications reports.
• Supervise photography, art department operations, and maintain a comprehensive master slide/photo library for advertising and public‑relations use.
• Ensure the corporate identity manual is up‑to‑date and consistently applied across all materials.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to inform communication tactics.
• Act as the official spokesperson, responding to media inquiries within 24 hours and managing a comprehensive media contact database.
• Draft and distribute press releases for local, regional, and international media, collaborating with corporate and international press offices.
• Lead community, government, and VIP relations, securing event opportunities and building targeted partner relationships.
• Organise press promotions and hotel‑sponsored events to enhance visibility.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or a related field, OR a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to manage communication teams and coordinate multi‑department projects.
• Strong understanding of hospitality marketing and public‑relations best practices.
