Director of Sales

About the role

The Director of Sales will lead all sales activities for METT Singapore, a lifestyle hotel within the Sunset Hospitality Group portfolio. Reporting to senior management, the role is responsible for achieving room revenue targets across luxury leisure, group, long‑stay, travel trade and other partnership channels.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities to meet hotel room revenue goals.
• Conduct at least 20 sales activities per week, including calls, site visits and client meetings.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive room‑sales plan covering multiple market segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, DMCs, event organisers and meeting planners.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimise occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour to generate commercial opportunities.
• Track sales production, forecast, pipeline performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Proven track record in hotel room sales and revenue generation.
• Experience managing luxury leisure, group, long‑stay and travel‑trade segments.
• Strong network with corporate clients, travel agencies and event planners.
• Ability to work closely with Revenue Management and other hotel departments.
