English Language Teacher – Primary & Secondary

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic English Language Teacher to deliver primary and secondary level lessons across Singapore. The role involves planning engaging composition and language sessions, adapting methods to diverse learner needs, and contributing to a supportive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver English composition and language lessons for primary and secondary students.
• Adapt teaching methodologies to meet individual student needs.
• Motivate and engage students through interactive, dynamic lessons.
• Provide written feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Develop and customise lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Identify and address learning obstacles, offering targeted support.
• Supervise students during peak hours and ensure classroom discipline.
• Participate in curriculum development and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, preferably at primary or secondary level.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
• Strong punctuality, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to varied learner needs.
• Effective classroom management and student engagement.
