Entry-Level Architect – 6‑Month Contract to Permanent (Gov Healthcare)

About the role

We are seeking a fresh‑graduate architect to support space planning and design activities for a government healthcare project in Singapore. The role starts as a six‑month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent, offering hands‑on experience in clinical and non‑clinical facility planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review space‑planning layouts, ensuring adjacency, workflow and functional requirements are met.
• Conduct test‑fit exercises and prepare alternative planning options for departmental spaces.
• Review architectural drawings and consultant submissions against user requirements and the Schedule of Accommodation.
• Facilitate planning meetings with clinical users and consultants, capture requirements and produce clear meeting minutes.
• Prepare presentation slides and written summaries to communicate design recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support compliance checks with local building codes and healthcare facility design standards.
• Maintain the drawing register and document‑management system, ensuring version control.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related built‑environment discipline.
• Fresh or entry‑level candidate; no prior experience required.
• Strong interest in healthcare facility planning and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
