Equipment Specialist I

About the role

The Equipment Specialist I supports manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment and production areas are ready, clean, and compliant with GMP standards. This entry‑level position works on a shift schedule and provides first‑level equipment support while gaining on‑the‑job training.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned manufacturing activities according to the production schedule and GMP guidelines.
• Review batch records promptly to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Clean, prepare, and sterilize production equipment and rooms, maintaining 5S housekeeping standards.
• Perform sampling, aliquoting, distribution, and in‑process controls.
• Manage consumables supply such as filters, resins, connections, bags, reagents, gases, and WCB.
• Conduct daily checks of manufacturing equipment, support devices, and rooms.
• Set up complex machine components and perform format‑part changeovers independently.
• Provide first‑level support for equipment issues and participate in on‑the‑job equipment operator training.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in Engineering or Sciences.
• Proficiency in English.
• No prior experience required, though it is an advantage.
• High level of conscientiousness, documentation accuracy, and workplace cleanliness.
• Understanding of technical processes/products and ability to troubleshoot.
• Willingness to work shift schedules.
