Event Management Manager

About the role

The Event Management Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of property events, ensuring a seamless experience from pre‑event planning through post‑event follow‑up. This role works closely with sales, property departments, and customers to deliver high‑quality service and maximize revenue opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare event documentation and coordinate with sales, property teams, and clients.
• Manage event logistics and operations, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to standards.
• Handle billing accuracy, conduct bill reviews with clients, and process final invoices.
• Oversee group room blocks and meeting space allocations for average to large‑sized groups.
• Identify operational challenges and develop solutions in collaboration with property staff and customers.
• Act as liaison between field salespeople and customers throughout the event lifecycle.
• Participate in site inspections and support the sales process as needed.
• Gather feedback from property departments to improve the event planning experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of event management experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with at least 1 year of experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to empower team members.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
