Executive Assistant to Head of School

About the role

The Australian International School is seeking a proactive Executive Assistant to support the Head of School. This senior administrative position will ensure smooth daily operations, strategic project coordination, and high‑level stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Head of School’s calendar, travel arrangements and correspondence.
• Prepare executive reports, presentations and Board papers.
• Coordinate strategic projects and support governance activities.
• Anticipate needs, solve problems independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Facilitate communication across school leadership and external partners.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience supporting a CEO, Head of School or equivalent senior executive.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional initiative, organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong judgement, problem‑solving and decision‑making capability.
• High emotional intelligence, discretion and ability to influence without authority.

Required skills
