Executive/Senior Electrical Engineer – Project Management

About the role

We are seeking an Executive/Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage distribution cable and equipment renewal projects. You will oversee project execution, ensure compliance with budgets, and drive continuous improvement in our electrical network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of officers to implement distribution cable and equipment renewal projects.
• Plan, execute, and monitor projects against approved budgets and timelines.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate quotations, and purchase work equipment and tools.
• Supervise contractors, approve work orders, verify and certify claims.
• Perform HT switching, protective relay testing, and equipment replacement.
• Manage term contracts, monitor outstanding claims, and prepare contingency plans.
• Participate in productivity initiatives and value‑stream mapping.
• Assist in budgeting and policy planning for the section.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical project management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
