Family Lawyer – Singapore Qualified

About the role

We are partnering with an established Singapore law practice to strengthen its Family Law team. The successful candidate will handle a broad spectrum of family and matrimonial matters, focusing on contentious and complex disputes while also supporting the growing non‑contentious practice.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients in contested and uncontested divorce matters.
• Manage matrimonial disputes involving ancillary issues such as custody, care and control, maintenance, and asset division.
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions, correspondence and other court documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on complex family law matters.
• Oversee cases from initial consultation through resolution, including court hearings, mediations and negotiations.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver clear, practical, and sensitive advice.
• Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers on high‑value or complex disputes.

Required profile

• Singapore‑qualified lawyer with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Prior experience in family law, matrimonial disputes, or civil litigation.
• Proven ability to manage files and client relationships independently.
• Strong interpersonal and client‑facing skills.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic, and able to present recommendations clearly.
