Finance Business Partner (FP&A) – Revenue & Order-to-Cash

About the role

Byteplus is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its FP&A team. The role will support business units by delivering financial analysis, budgeting, and revenue accounting expertise, helping drive efficient decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and strategy teams to provide optimized financial solutions and advice.
• Prepare, review and track managerial budgets, rolling forecasts and financial performance.
• Collaborate with platform teams to design and improve finance processes for new initiatives.
• Review non‑standard deals, contracts and assess risk in line with accounting policies.
• Define revenue recognition rules and evaluate cloud‑product metering and billing.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for revenue and accounts receivable as part of month‑end close.
• Conduct budget control, review project applications, and approve contracts, payments and procurement from a financial perspective.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects focused on revenue accounting and order‑to‑cash cycles.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or audit/advisory.
• Strong technical finance expertise in revenue accounting, accounts receivable and order‑to‑cash processes.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Fluent Mandarin for regular communication with Chinese stakeholders.
• Experience reviewing contracts, non‑standard deals, or designing finance processes in a technology environment.
