Finance Director – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Global hospitality group is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead all financial operations for a large, full‑service hotel property in Asia. You will be responsible for safeguarding financial integrity, providing strategic insights, and partnering with senior management to drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel financial functions, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance of financial data.
• Serve as primary liaison for owners, auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop, manage and present annual operating budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Lead accounting activities including AP, AR, credit, payroll, purchasing, audit and financial reporting.
• Implement strong financial controls and ethical accounting practices.
• Collaborate with General Management on pricing, cost control, capital expenditure and investment decisions.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Manage cash flow, inventory controls, credit policies and collections to optimise liquidity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Significant experience in hotel accounting or audit, with at least one year in a senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality finance, budgeting, forecasting and compliance.
• Professional accounting or finance certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
• Willingness to relocate within Asia.
