Finance Manager – Marine Industry, Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a fast‑growing marine company in Singapore. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will oversee accounting operations, statutory reporting, tax compliance and group consolidation for the Singapore entity and future Asian subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting spectrum: GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, cash and intercompany accounting.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with SFRS and maintain compliance with group accounting policies.
• Produce monthly management reports and perform analytical reviews of financial results.
• Coordinate corporate income tax computations, ECI filings, transfer‑pricing documentation and liaise with external tax advisors.
• Oversee cash management, liquidity monitoring and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, finance procedures and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 1‑2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, statutory reporting and technical accounting.
• Detail‑oriented, resourceful and proactive with excellent interpersonal skills.
