FP&A Manager – Finance Controlling

About the role

We are seeking a highly‑motivated FP&A Manager to join our Finance Controlling team. The role leads monthly finance closing, profit & loss analysis and cost reporting while delivering actionable insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial closing in SAP, including sales and expense postings, cost allocations and reconciliations.
• Prepare detailed P&L and cost variance analysis, compare results to targets and prior periods, and share reports with sales and marketing teams.
• Conduct in‑depth business and financial analysis using Excel and SAP data, creating structured reports on cost structures, profit issues and improvement opportunities.
• Investigate root causes of cost increases or profitability declines, using advanced Excel techniques such as pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Monitor SAP FI/CO postings, validate cost allocation configurations and coordinate adjustments with the FI posting team.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing and other departments to review marketing investments, analyze cost drivers and support accurate forecasting.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in finance controlling, business analysis or accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO (posting, cost allocation, system logic).
• Proven ability to manage month‑end closing activities and handle large data sets.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including provisions, accruals and expense recognition.
