Government & Public Affairs Manager – APAC

About the role

Join the LEGO Group as a Government & Public Affairs Manager for the APAC region, where you will help shape policies that enable creative learning through play. You will work closely with governments, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders to protect the brand and promote LEGO’s educational mission.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with governments, trade associations, industry coalitions, and public services across APAC.
• Influence government policy, legislative direction, and public opinion to improve the regulatory environment for LEGO.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on emerging policy and regulatory trends, preparing issue papers for business leadership.
• Educate business leaders on opportunities and risks arising from new legislation.
• Develop and execute government relations initiatives that enhance LEGO’s reputation and impact.
• Raise awareness of LEGO’s intellectual property rights and work with partners to address IP violations.
• Lead public‑affairs programs through advocacy, platform activation, and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field, either in public office or corporate settings.
• Proven track record of influencing policy, engaging with parliamentarians, and achieving win‑win outcomes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, independent work approach.
• Ability to anticipate policy trends, assess business impact, and respond strategically.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, collaboration, and negotiation skills, especially with senior executives.
