Head of Finance – Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead the finance function of our Singapore‑based, MAS‑regulated online brokerage. Reporting to the Singapore CEO and working closely with Group Finance, you will own financial reporting, regulatory compliance, treasury and business partnering for a fast‑growing fintech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close, statutory financial statements (SFRS(I)) and Group consolidation for the Singapore entity.
• Manage MAS regulatory reporting, capital planning, client‑money protection and serve as the primary finance contact for the regulator.
• Oversee treasury activities, liquidity management, FX exposure and intercompany funding for the Group.
• Partner with the Group Tax team on corporate tax, GST, withholding tax and transfer‑pricing compliance.
• Drive audit processes, internal controls, automation of reconciliations and finance system enhancements.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional qualification (ISCA, ACCA, CPA) and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years leading a finance or regulatory reporting team, preferably with Big‑Four audit background and in‑house experience at a MAS‑regulated CMS licensee.
• Proven track record handling MAS inspections, financial returns and capital management for a broker‑dealer or custody business.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SFRS(I) and IFRS, including multi‑entity consolidation.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise; experience with ERP implementation or finance automation projects.
