Head of Project Logistics & Business Development (Project Cargo Sales)

About the role

The Head of Project Logistics will lead business development and sales for project cargo, breakbulk, heavy lift, oversized cargo, and multimodal transportation solutions across Southeast Asia. This senior role combines strategic client acquisition with hands‑on project management to deliver end‑to‑end logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in construction, data centre, heavy cargo, and machinery services.
• Lead assigned projects from concept through client handover, managing schedules and vendor coordination.
• Develop precise cost‑tracking structures and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to design efficient logistics solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and logistics partners.
• Prepare competitive quotations, tenders, and logistics proposals tailored to customer requirements.
• Analyse industry trends, competitor positioning, and customer behaviour to capture new opportunities.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and analytics to the management team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience selling project cargo, breakbulk, heavy lift, oversized cargo, and multimodal transportation solutions.
