HR Business Partner – APAC & China

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders of the APAC Regional Office and China. Working in a fast‑paced, multinational environment, you will deliver end‑to‑end HR services across the employee lifecycle while driving initiatives that boost performance, engagement and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to shape people strategies aligned with organisational priorities.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, succession planning, compensation support and off‑boarding for the APAC region and China.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, Singapore employment legislation and best practices.
• Support regional and global HR initiatives, change management and organisational transformation.
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence and shared services to deliver effective HR solutions.
• Analyse workforce data, produce insights for business decisions and workforce planning.
• Coordinate HR administration, payroll activities and reporting for China.
• Promote an inclusive, high‑performance culture and positive employee experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive HR Business Partner or Generalist experience in a multinational, matrixed organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven experience across the full employee lifecycle.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is mandatory.
