HR Business Partner – Singapore

About the role

As an HR Business Partner at Plaud, you will act as a strategic architect of an AI‑native organization, partnering with Singapore‑based technology and operations leaders to scale teams, drive performance and embed a first‑principles culture across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic Partnering: Align HR initiatives with business goals for Big Data, Engineering and Commercialisation teams.
• Talent Development & Integration: Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for mid‑to‑senior technical roles and ensure seamless onboarding in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Performance & Culture: Implement data‑driven performance management and foster a culture where everyone can thrive.
• AI‑Driven Ops: Use AI tools to automate HR workflows such as reporting, screening and employee queries.
• Compliance: Oversee Singapore labour law compliance, payroll and local employee relations.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in HR Business Partner roles, preferably in Big Tech or high‑growth AI startups.
• Proven track record scaling technical teams (Big Data, Engineering, AI) in the Singapore market.
• Strong ability to leverage data for headcount planning, retention and performance metrics.
• In‑depth knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, EP/COMPASS framework and MOM regulations.
• Native‑level fluency in English and Mandarin to collaborate with global teams.
