Head of Workforce Planning

About the role

Pandora is looking for a Head of Workforce Planning to lead the integrated workforce‑planning process end‑to‑end, ensuring People plans and Finance forecasts translate into a single decision‑ready view across Anaplan WFP and P&L modules. The role sits on the People Leadership team and works closely with senior executives including the CEO and CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integrated workforce‑planning calendar, governance and delivery across budgeting, forecasting and multi‑year planning cycles.
• Drive headcount, capacity, capability and personnel‑cost strategy for >5,000 employees and >€200M PEX across 15+ markets.
• Act as the primary strategic link between People and Finance, unifying assumptions, planning definitions, ownership models, deadlines and approval workflows.
• Maintain the Anaplan WFP module and ensure alignment with the Anaplan P&L module, reconciling headcount, personnel costs, allocations and phasing.
• Lead monthly actual‑versus‑plan reviews, identify material variances, root causes and corrective actions together with Finance and business unit heads.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in workforce planning, HR controlling, FP&A, people analytics or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of headcount management, organisational structures, personnel‑cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and P&L mechanics.
• Hands‑on experience with Anaplan (or comparable systems) across workforce‑planning and financial‑planning modules.
• Ability to connect HR events and organisational decisions to their financial impact and communicate this to both People and Finance audiences.
• High analytical judgement, accuracy and discretion when handling sensitive employee and compensation data.
