HR Generalist – Global Chemical Organization

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, people‑focused HR Generalist to support employees and leaders within a global specialty chemicals organization. The role blends operational HR delivery with strategic partnership, ensuring a seamless employee experience across the full lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees on HR policies, benefits, payroll, and employment matters.
• Manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation, contract administration, internal transfers, changes, and off‑boarding.
• Coordinate and administer monthly payroll activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing in partnership with payroll providers or shared services.
• Validate payroll inputs such as new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, bonuses, allowances, leave records, and statutory deductions.
• Support employee relations, compliance with local legislation, and consistent application of HR policies.

Required profile

• Proven HR experience in a complex, matrixed, global environment.
• Strong knowledge of local employment legislation and cultural considerations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to balance operational excellence with strategic people support.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously.
