IT Intern – Infrastructure Support

About the role

As an IT Intern at DRW, you will work closely with technology teams and external parties to provide world‑class support, investigating and resolving a variety of technical and business issues daily. You will support trading desks, help define technology requirements, and contribute to both time‑sensitive problems and longer‑term projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of the company's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Support the implementation and configuration of hardware and software components, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of infrastructure projects such as system upgrades and migrations.
• Participate in the documentation of infrastructure processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions for infrastructure improvements.

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN technologies.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix) and virtualization technologies.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, intellectually curious, accountable, and able to handle pressure and time constraints.
