Kitchen Supervisor – Food Preparation & Team Management

About the role

The Kitchen Supervisor will lead food preparation and cooking operations across our island‑wide locations in Singapore. You will ensure high‑quality meals, maintain strict hygiene standards, and support a dynamic team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including slicing, chopping, mincing, mixing and seasoning.
• Cook hot dishes by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying and broiling, and assemble cold components.
• Maintain HACCP logs, temperature controls, proper labeling, dating and stock rotation.
• Contribute to daily, holiday and themed menus in collaboration with senior staff.
• Keep kitchen equipment, storage areas and workstations clean and sanitized; follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Handle customer feedback, implement feasible suggestions and refer complex issues to management.
• Develop new menu items and improvise existing recipes, with a focus on North Indian cuisine.
• Manage kitchen expenses, food cost, inventory and staffing within budgetary limits.
• Supervise a team to ensure tidy service areas and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Ability to cook North Indian food and perform shift work.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail for food safety and cost control.
