Legal Consultant – Intellectual Property (SEA)

About the role

We are looking for Legal Consultants with intellectual property experience to support our global Fortune 500 client across the SEA region. The role involves developing IP policies, managing brand disputes, and providing day‑to‑day advisory support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and update regional brand protection and IP policies, internal SOPs, and education materials for users and rights holders.
• Manage and resolve high‑impact local brand/IP disputes and incidents, including investigations and remediation.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to manage external relationships with brands, industry associations, law enforcement and regulators on brand/IP issues.
• Monitor brand/IP legal and industry developments in key markets and translate them into practical guidance, tools and processes for the business.
• Provide brand/IP training and day‑to‑day advisory support, working autonomously at senior level or focusing on document review at junior level.

Required profile

• 4‑10+ years post‑qualification experience in IP/technology or brand protection.
• Strong knowledge of trademark and/or copyright laws and IP enforcement practices in the SG/SEA region.
• Experience with IP‑related policy work, takedowns, disputes and rights‑holder interactions.
