Legal Counsel (3-5 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Counsel with 3‑5 years of post‑qualification experience to provide commercially‑focused legal advice across a range of corporate and commercial matters. You will work closely with senior management and cross‑functional teams to support strategic initiatives, transactions and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially‑oriented legal advice to business stakeholders.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and legal documents.
• Support strategic business initiatives, corporate transactions and investment‑related activities.
• Advise on legal, regulatory, compliance and governance matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks while aligning with business objectives.
• Partner with senior management and cross‑functional teams on day‑to‑day legal matters.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and coordinate legal support as needed.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal policies, processes and governance frameworks.
• Deliver clear, pragmatic, solution‑oriented legal guidance throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with relevant post‑qualification experience in private practice, in‑house, or a combination of both.
• Experience advising on commercial contracts, corporate matters and general business legal issues.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercially minded with the capacity to balance legal risk against business goals.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with regional or cross‑border matters is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic business setting.
