Legal Counsel – APAC

About the role

Orange Business is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its APAC legal team in Singapore. The role supports the ASEAN, Japan & Korea region, providing legal and operational assistance across the company's ICT services. The position is ideal for a qualified lawyer with 2‑3 years of post‑qualification experience looking to transition from private practice to an in‑house environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for non‑disclosure agreements, RFP responses, and drafting/negotiating customer and supplier contracts in ICT services (connectivity, cloud, security, etc.).
• Advise internal functions such as HR, Finance, Sourcing, Real Estate & Facilities Management on legal matters.
• Coordinate with external counsel across APAC for contractual advice, country‑specific regulations, dispute resolution, and corporate filings.
• Participate in regional and global meetings and projects to support the Global Legal team and business objectives.

Required profile

• Law degree from a reputable university and admission to practice law in Singapore.
• 2‑3 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in an international law firm or corporation.
• Experience in contract drafting and commercial/transactional negotiations, especially international transactions.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
