Legal Counsel – APAC Region

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to support our Consumer Goods business across the APAC region. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal – APAC, you will work within a global legal team and receive hands‑on training from senior counsel based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial legal support (approximately 60% of time) including contract drafting, review and negotiation.
• Assist growth projects and M&A activities (around 20% of time).
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies (remaining 20%).
• Support day‑to‑day legal operations and team coordination across key markets such as Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, ANZ, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) with a solid academic background (LLB or LLM) from a reputable university.
• Experience in a reputable law firm, preferably with commercial transactional work or secondments to industry‑focused clients.
• Open to candidates from Singapore, Hong Kong, the US, the UK or Australia.
• Stable career progression and, where applicable, a mix of law‑firm and in‑house experience.
