Legal Counsel – Electronics Manufacturing (5‑7 PQE)

About the role

This permanent position is based in Singapore and offers a unique chance to join the legal team of a leading electronics manufacturing group. You will act as the primary legal advisor for the company’s regional operations, handling a broad spectrum of commercial and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, supply agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with Singaporean laws and regulations, as well as applicable rules in other Southeast Asian jurisdictions.
• Provide legal support to business units across the region, advising on risk mitigation and corporate governance.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise stakeholders on potential impacts.
• Collaborate with external counsel when specialized expertise is required.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 5–7 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Demonstrated experience in commercial law, contract drafting and regulatory compliance, preferably within manufacturing or technology sectors.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional Southeast Asian language proficiency is a plus.
