Legal Counsel – Manufacturing (East)

About the role

This position joins the legal team of a leading manufacturing organisation headquartered in Singapore, overseeing legal matters across Southeast Asia (SEA) with a focus on the Eastern manufacturing region. The role provides regional legal support in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial and legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with Singaporean and relevant SEA regulations.
• Support the company’s regional operations and provide occasional legal assistance to other SEA jurisdictions.
• Advise business units on commercial contracts, regulatory matters and risk mitigation.
• Monitor legal developments and implement appropriate policy updates.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Experience in the manufacturing sector or handling cross‑border commercial matters in SEA.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
