Legal Counsel – Manufacturing (West)

About the role

This permanent Legal Counsel position supports a leading manufacturing organization headquartered in Singapore. The role focuses on legal matters across Southeast Asia, with a primary emphasis on the West region, and occasional cross‑border support.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations in Singapore and other SEA jurisdictions.
• Provide legal advice to regional business units on operational and regulatory issues.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support fast‑paced business initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of post‑qualification legal experience (PQE) in corporate or commercial law.
• Experience working with manufacturing or industrial clients is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
