Legal Specialist – Transactional Law

About the role

Scissero is seeking a Legal Specialist to support live private equity, M&A, and financing transactions for leading global investment firms, asset managers, and corporates. You will work with an AI‑enhanced platform to review, draft, and negotiate NDAs and related transaction documents while ensuring alignment with client‑approved playbooks.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs and ancillary transaction documents across private equity, M&A, and financing deals.
• Apply client‑specific playbooks and structured frameworks to maintain consistency with sponsor‑side positions.
• Identify deviations from playbook guidance and incorporate appropriate fallback language.
• Manage your own workflow and document queue, prioritising to meet defined turnaround times.
• Support multiple concurrent transactions in fast‑paced environments.
• Collaborate with global legal colleagues to ensure high‑quality, consistent delivery.
• Work with product and engineering teams to refine AI tools that underpin the delivery model.

Required profile

• LLB degree or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in transactional legal work, contract review, or similar high‑volume legal environments.
• Experience reviewing NDAs or comparable transactional agreements.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using AI‑enabled legal platforms for document review and deviation identification.
• Ability to apply client‑specific playbooks and structured frameworks.
• Strong organisational skills to manage workflow and meet turnaround targets.
