Locum Healthcare Assistant – $18/hr (HCA/Nitec/Diploma)

About the role

This temporary position supports inpatient wards at a public healthcare institution in Singapore. The role is ideal for recent graduates or entry‑level candidates holding a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) qualification, Nitec, or a Diploma in Nursing who are looking for hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nurses with routine patient care tasks, including hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the ward.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes to nursing staff.
• Support documentation and other ward duties as directed by senior staff.

Required profile

• Relevant HCA experience or possession of an HMI certification.
• Willingness to work assigned shift patterns (AM/PM/ON) for a minimum of 3–4 days per week, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to commit to a 3‑month renewable contract.
