Manager (NS Relations and Engagement)

About the role

The Manager (NS Relations and Engagement) will oversee HR administration, training coordination, feedback management, and National Service (NS) engagement within the formation. This role acts as the central liaison for NSmen, ensuring smooth HR processes and fostering unit cohesion.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for NSmen on all HR and administrative matters.
• Liaise with relevant agencies to resolve HR and administrative issues raised by NSmen.
• Support HR management functions such as succession planning, resource allocation, top‑ups, course management, and performance appraisals.
• Coordinate and conduct cohesion activities for NS units to regularly engage NSmen.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement systems and processes that increase confidence in the SAF.

Required profile

• Education in any field.
• At least 2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with SAP in HR administration (preferred).
• Strong written and oral command of English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to define problems, generate ideas, evaluate solutions, and assess outcomes.
• Ability to organise and lead teams.
• Strong interest in process management and engagement work.
