Medical Advisor – Clinical Development & Medical Affairs

About the role

The Medical Advisor (Clinical Development) is responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing clinical studies for Moleac’s products. The role works closely with academic experts, key opinion leaders and internal teams to ensure scientific rigor and regulatory compliance while supporting medical affairs, marketing and pharmacovigilance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop study concepts, protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, Informed Consent Forms and safety reports; provide medical input to CRF, data‑management and statistical analysis plans.
• Act as Moleac’s liaison with KOLs, investigators and advisory boards for scientific and medical aspects of trials.
• Secure ethics committee, IRB and regulatory authorizations; support CROs and study sites throughout the trial lifecycle.
• Review clinical data, adverse events and patient narratives; manage SAE assessments and contribute to Clinical Study Reports.
• Support Medical Affairs by overseeing registry platforms, driving peer‑reviewed publications and responding to medical inquiries from healthcare providers, patients and partners.
• Assist Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance with adverse drug reaction evaluation, case reporting and creation of standard response messages.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in medical affairs, preferably in neurology/neuroscience.
• Strong scientific analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in business English.
• Ability to interpret, evaluate and present clinical data to internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 40‑50 % of the time, including overnight trips.
