Operations Management Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Operations Management Manager to lead production and supply‑chain activities for its semiconductor equipment business in Singapore. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, cost‑effective manufacturing that meets customer delivery and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor production metrics, budgets and plant capacity, taking corrective action when needed.
• Plan, schedule and control project timelines to guarantee on‑time product delivery.
• Optimize resource utilization, reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Direct, guide and evaluate personnel to achieve production and supply‑chain goals while adhering to 5S, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, Lean projects and process‑streamlining efforts.
• Identify and implement new technologies to shorten cycle time and increase profitability.
• Collaborate with senior management to align operational development with business opportunities.
• Mentor and develop direct reports, ensuring they are skilled and trained for high‑quality performance.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for complex operational challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to drive Lean, safety and quality initiatives.
