About the role
Singapore National Eye Centre is expanding its clinical team and is seeking qualified ophthalmologists and anaesthesia physicians for senior consultant, resident physician and clinical associate positions across its main campus and partner hospitals.
Key responsibilities
- Provide ophthalmic clinical care in outpatient clinics and support surgical services.
- Perform or assist in ophthalmic surgeries and laser procedures.
- Deliver anaesthesia care for ophthalmic operations, including pre‑operative assessment and post‑operative monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists, nursing teams and allied health staff to ensure safe patient care.
Required profile
- Basic Medical Degree and postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology or Anaesthesia, registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
- Completion of recognised Advanced Specialist Training and eligibility for specialist accreditation (for consultant roles).
- Minimum 3 years ophthalmology experience for resident physicians or minimum 1 year anaesthesia experience for clinical associates.
