PR & Media Communications Manager – Southeast Asia

About the role

Salt Talent Search is seeking a PR and Media Communications Manager for a 12‑month extendable contract covering Southeast Asia. You will work closely with the policy and consumer communications teams to shape public perception of the platform, highlight its social and economic benefits, and demonstrate collaborative relationships with regulators and tourism bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute consumer, corporate and policy communication strategies that boost brand favorability.
• Lead complex, proactive campaigns, including press releases, story pitches, Q&As, presentations and executive speeches.
• Manage agency partners across all markets and coordinate influencer engagement programmes.
• Build and maintain relationships with key reporters, prepare media briefings and support public‑speaking engagements.
• Collaborate seamlessly with local policy teams, the consumer communications manager and international communications groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6+ years of experience in consumer, corporate or policy communications, either in‑house or agency.
• Excellent writing, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Thai or Bahasa is an advantage.
• Proven media‑relations network and ability to deliver data‑driven press projects.
• Experience handling complex regulatory issues in a fast‑paced, political environment.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and calmness under pressure.
