About the role
We are looking for a junior‑to‑mid‑level Privacy & Data Protection Counsel with 3–6 years of post‑qualification experience. The role reports to the Head of Privacy & Data Protection and will support a global digital entertainment and technology company, managing privacy compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update global privacy frameworks and policies for international business units.
- Partner with engineering teams to embed privacy‑by‑design and responsible AI principles into products.
- Conduct DPIAs and draft, review, and negotiate Data Processing Agreements and commercial privacy clauses.
- Manage data incident responses, regulatory notifications, and monitor evolving global privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and the EU AI Act.
Required profile
- Qualified lawyer in Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Canada.
- 3–6 years of legal practice focused on data privacy, cybersecurity, or emerging technologies, preferably with both law firm and in‑house experience.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Currently based in Singapore or Hong Kong.
