Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will play a critical role in managing cross‑functional projects, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery of key initiatives within a regulated, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, track, and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for multiple concurrent projects across streams.
• Coordinate collaboration between internal departments such as Technology, Product, Operations, Regulatory Compliance, and Legal.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Abaxx Exchange and external vendors, system integrators, and technology partners, managing performance, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
• Identify project risks, constraints, and gaps early, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain accurate risk logs, issue trackers, and project documentation.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status updates, dashboards, and executive briefings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10‑15 years of project management experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, trading platforms, exchanges, clearing, or technology implementation.
• Proven experience managing vendors and cross‑functional teams in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) with relevant certification.
• Hands‑on experience planning and executing UAT cycles and excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
