Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the implementation and maintenance of Group policies and ISO 9001 standards. The role focuses on waste elimination, continuous improvement, and ensuring product quality across operations, logistics, and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate QA, QC, and manufacturing batch record information to disposition raw materials, work‑in‑process, and finished goods.
• Maintain an effective system for Certificate of Analysis (CoA) generation, including specification review and data analysis.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for one or more quality systems used within the business unit.
• Communicate with production, maintenance, warehouse, and other functions to optimize processes, prevent problems, and apply best practices across sites.
• Develop, review, and revise metrics that monitor key plant quality control points, aligning production capabilities with laboratory methods and customer needs.
• Lead material review boards to resolve quality‑related issues and drive organizational change for complex problems.
• Assist in compliance QMS and customer audits, and lead internal audits.
• Write, revise, and review work instructions, training tools, and forms while completing all assigned training.

Required profile

• Comfortable leading and implementing organizational change to solve complex quality problems.
• Experience leading material review boards and internal audits.
• Ability to ensure compliance with QMS, ISO 9001 standards, and customer audit requirements.
