Regional Finance Manager – Singapore & APAC

About the role

Superpower X AI is seeking a hands‑on Regional Finance Manager to lead its internal finance function across Singapore and other Asia‑Pacific markets. You will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management, tax compliance and internal controls while supporting rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage finance and accounting activities for Singapore and regional entities, including month‑end and year‑end closing, GL, AP, AR and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements and regional consolidation reports.
• Lead annual budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting, financial planning and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash positions, working capital, payments and funding requirements across the region.
• Establish finance policies, approval procedures and internal controls.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, tax filings, GST/VAT, transfer pricing and other compliance matters with local teams and external advisers.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax advisers and corporate secretarial firms.
• Support setup and ongoing financial administration of new entities and projects across APAC.
• Review commercial contracts, project budgets and major procurement or cap‑ex proposals from a financial perspective.
• Provide management with practical financial analysis and recommendations.
• Improve finance processes, reporting tools and systems to support growth.
• Manage and develop internal finance personnel and outsourced accounting resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; CPA, ACCA or CA preferred.
• 8–12 years of finance and accounting experience, including regional or multi‑entity exposure.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management, internal controls and statutory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with Singapore finance and tax matters; exposure to Malaysia, Indonesia or other APAC markets is a plus.
• Experience coordinating regional audits, tax advisers and outsourced accounting providers.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
