Regional Quality Manager (Asia Pacific)

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to lead quality management, certification and compliance across its Asia Pacific logistics footprint. You will support air, cold storage, and cold‑chain operations while driving continuous improvement of the Enterprise Quality Management System (QMS).

Key responsibilities

• Implement and improve the Enterprise QMS and ISO 9001 certification for targeted sites in the region.
• Conduct internal audits, deliver quality awareness training and support the PRIME programme.
• Maintain a regional register of external certifications (ISO, TAPA, SQAS, GxP, GFSI) in partnership with Centre Quality and local stakeholders.
• Provide expertise on audit readiness, certification requirements and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support logistics operations (air freight, trucking, warehousing, cargo handling) on quality‑related matters.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to promote quality governance, compliance and operational excellence.
• Monitor, analyse and report quality KPIs, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
• Act as regional quality contact for Automotive, Pharma and Food Safety Management Systems, assisting with customer CAPAs and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Certified Lead Auditor qualification (preferred).
• Proven experience conducting audits and managing certification programmes across recognised standards.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other certifications such as TAPA, SQAS, GxP and GFSI.
• Experience supporting quality in logistics, supply‑chain or related environments.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and drive a continuous‑improvement mindset.
