Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking (Up to VP)

About the role
OCBC is seeking a Relationship Manager, up to VP level, to lead and deepen relationships with corporate and institutional clients in the real‑estate sector. You will work closely with senior client decision‑makers and collaborate with product partners across corporate finance, investment banking, debt capital markets and treasury.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and deepen relationships with a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients in the real‑estate sector.
- Monitor portfolio performance, market developments and emerging risks, taking timely action where required.
- Maintain sound credit discipline and ensure compliance with regulatory, conduct and internal policy requirements.
- Develop a strong understanding of clients’ strategies, financial performance, capital structures and investment plans.
- Identify and originate opportunities across corporate lending, acquisition and development financing, structured finance, debt capital markets, corporate finance, treasury and other banking solutions.
- Coordinate internal resources and product specialists to deliver integrated solutions and a consistent client experience.
- Conduct financial modelling, valuation, cash‑flow and sensitivity analyses to assess transaction feasibility and credit risks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Business or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in corporate banking, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory or institutional real estate.
- At least three years of hands‑on investment banking or corporate finance experience, with exposure to financial modelling, valuation, transaction structuring and deal execution.
- Strong credit, financial and commercial judgement with ability to assess complex business and transaction risks.
- Experience covering real‑estate developers, REITs, private‑equity real‑estate funds, investment managers or institutional investors is an advantage.
- Comfortable engaging senior client stakeholders and presenting clear, well‑supported recommendations.
- Ability to originate ideas, manage several workstreams and drive transactions to completion.
- Works well across functions, products and geographies and can influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Demonstrates high standards of integrity, risk ownership and professional conduct.
- CFA, CA, CPA or another relevant professional qualification would be an advantage.
