Retail Manager – Indian Gold & Jewellery

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to oversee the operations of our Indian gold and jewellery retail store. The successful candidate will develop and implement marketing strategies, identify business opportunities, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Indian gold and jewellery products
• Foster strong customer relationships
• Meet monthly sales targets
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Identify business opportunities
• Manage staff and oversee daily store operations
• Train and develop staff members
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years' Retail Manager experience in the Indian jewellery industry
• Proficiency in identifying and appraising diamonds and gemstones
• Expertise in gold appraisal and performing minor jewellery repair works
• In‑depth knowledge of ethnic Indian design jewellery products, manufacturing processes and supplier relations
• Ability to handle customised orders and design new products based on customer requests
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including day/night shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
