Revenue Accountant (1-year contract)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Revenue Accountant to join our client’s finance team on a one‑year contract. You will support revenue accounting operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with month‑end and quarter‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform revenue accounting activities in line with applicable standards and company policies.
• Review customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
• Apply full‑cycle accounting principles to complex transactions.
• Prepare account reconciliations and review financial data for accuracy.
• Support compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements and internal control frameworks.
• Utilize Oracle Cloud ERP to manage revenue accounting transactions and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in revenue accounting.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and full‑cycle accounting.
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial close activities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and meticulous attention to detail.
• CPA certification preferred.
