About the role

The Rheumatology Service at CGH is looking for a qualified Rheumatology Specialist to join its clinical team. This position involves delivering high‑quality patient care, contributing to departmental administration, and supporting the development of junior doctors. The role also offers opportunities for research within a leading healthcare institution.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of rheumatologic conditions.
• Handle administrative responsibilities related to the rheumatology department.
• Teach and supervise junior doctors, fostering their professional growth.
• Engage in research activities and contribute to scholarly work.
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Division.

Required profile

• Basic medical degree and a postgraduate medical qualification registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
• Specialty training recognised by the Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB) in Singapore.
• Documentary evidence of specialist training and registration from the country of origin and the relevant licensing body.
• Preferably, prior working experience as an accredited and licensed medical specialist in the country of origin.
• Compliance with all criteria stipulated by the SMC for Conditional Medical Registration.
• English language proficiency if the basic medical qualification was not taught in English.
