Risk & Compliance Executive – Hybrid, Up to SGD 5.2k

About the role

The Risk & Compliance Executive will plan, organise, and execute internal control functions across Asia Pacific offices to ensure effective and compliant processes. The role involves establishing frameworks, supporting audit remediation, and leading Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and execute internal control functions across Asia Pacific offices.
• Establish, maintain, and enhance internal control frameworks, policies, and guidelines.
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance procedures, and documentation practices.
• Support audit remediation efforts by reviewing responses to audit findings and tracking corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programmes and educational materials.
• Oversee data protection and privacy practices to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead GRC activities and partner with senior leadership to align risk and compliance with business objectives.
• Coordinate and maintain the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and monitor corporate governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in risk management, corporate governance, internal control, or compliance.
• Knowledge of current laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks.
• Strong policy writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
